Today was another wonderful day, we started out with a market breakfast and a nice bible study. Then we had the wonderful opportunity to have Pastor Nahum share his story with us, and share some of his favorite things about Hogar de Amor.
After that we headed over to the orphanage and began working, we painted, sowed, and even got the majority of the fence up today. Along with stabilizing the nine square for the kids to enjoy later. Once done working we went to Leonel for lunch with some delicious enchiladas made by Mama Adrianna. Today for activities we had: Musical Chairs for music, Nine Square for sports, and Tic Tac Toe for crafts. It was for sure another huge success.
The evening was a very eventful time, we went back to the hotel. But quickly turned around back to the orphanage where we put on our first "Rally." Which essentially, we split up 120 kids into 6 teams and had a series of games to compete in, get points, and win a surprise prize. There were nine games: Loudest to Yell, Balloon Blow up, Duck Race, Water Filling, Egg Statue, Puzzle Building, Egg Throwing. We then ended the night with chatting, tacos, and some very intense hat stealing.
