Day three started off with excitement and smiles. We were able to do games and crafts with the Hogar de Amor kids before beginning our project work.

All of the kids got their very own new coloring book and set of crayons thanks to the generous donations we were able to collect; they we all very grateful and excited.
Speaking of donations look just how much we were able to provide for the homes of Hogar de Amor this year. The gratitude the kids and care takers here show towards every single little thing we provide them is amazing. So many small everyday things we take for granted that they are over joyed to get, God is so good!

All of the projects continue to make great progress today. The roof crew began work earlier to beat the heat as usual. Plumbing repairs where ever needed continue to be added and marked off the list. The sewing team completed the curtains for Casa Leonel (photos to come they are beautiful). Multiple paint crews today: Crew 1 tackled painting the outside of very tall Casa Golondrinas, Crew 2 worked on and is very closed to finishing the mulipurpose room at Casa Matriz, it looks amazing. Crew 3 painted the doors to the laundry room / bodega building and the goal posts at Casa Matriz.
We had lunch at Casa Cuna (the baby/small childrens home). After lunch we able to spend some time there with the kids letting the care takers have a break and the kids have someone different to play with. We also handed out teddy bears to the children, the look and pure joy and excitement as each one of us selected a child to give a bear to is indescribable.
