We are all amazed that Friday has come so fast. Our time here is almost complete.
We began our day with breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Then it was off to Casa Adolescentes (teenage boy home) to complete painting of the boys bedrooms.
It was great that the boys were helping. There was a lot of enthusiasm with no precision. I guess there was actually some precision (on the floor and their mattresses).
We also had a couple of plumbing and some electrical projects there. We're always amazed at how long projects take here and how much we need to piece together from the parts that we have to make things work.
Sarai was able to sew some new mattress covers for Casa Cuna (baby home). As she was sewing, she was able to interact with the house parents and hear their stories and some of the life of the people here (very heart felt, when you see Sarai, ask her to share with you).
We had so much fun at Casa Señoritas where we made bracelets and pictures on magnet paper.
We said our heart felt goodbyes at one of the main houses. Goodbyes are sweet, but oh so hard.
On our final night there was a HUGE party with games, 3 piñatas, lots of food and many, many people. It was a great way to finish the trip.
